Jon Stewart challenges Obama over failure to impose LGBT anti-discrimination orderTop Highlights Tuesday, May 1st, 2012
During last night’s broadcast of “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” the titular comedian criticized President Obama for delaying action on an executive order to end LGBT discrimination in the workplace.
Quoting the president’s recent comments insisting that his administration is “looking every single day for actions we can take without Congress,” and his promise that “where we won’t act, I will,” Stewart interjected, “How about you sign an executive order that would protect gay people in the workplace!”
