Stay on Prop. 8 lifted

The U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals today lifted the stay on Proposition 8. The 10-word ruling stated, “The stay in the above matter is dissolved effective immediately.” Same-sex marriages can now resume in California for the first time since 2008.
