Tylenol’s new ad aims to show the diversity of modern families (VIDEO)

An ad in Tylenol’s new #HowWeFamily campaign features gay and lesbian couples aiming to show the diversity of modern families.

The ad, directed by Academy Award winner Dustin Lance Black is scheduled to begin airing on TV next week. The clip launches a three-month campaign that will include profiles of 10 real-life U.S. families, a “docu-short” on the changing face of the American family and the results of a national survey on families, which will all be featured on Tylenol’s #HowWeFamily site.

Tylenol states, “When were you first considered a family? We believe that family is not about who you love, but how. For over 60 years, When were you first considered a family? We believe that family is not about who you love, but how. For over 60 years, Tylenol has cared for all families.”
