SD Airport Authority to present Airport Development Plan Concept at Community Open House July 14Around the City, Event Calendar, Online Only, Top Highlights Monday, June 29th, 2015
The San Diego International Airport Authority is holding a community open house Tuesday, July 14 at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., where the Airport Development Plan (ADP) will be discussed.
The ADP is the next master planning phase for San Diego International Airport, and will enable the airport to meet demand through 2035. As the planning process continues, the Airport Authority is hosting the open house to provide an overview of the ADP and the four existing alternatives and to share a new fifth concept.
Extensive public outreach has been under way since spring 2014 and will continue as staff and consultants work toward a preferred concept for the Airport Authority Board’s consideration. The Airport Authority is seeking input from residents and airport stakeholders on the alternatives. It is expected that the entire ADP planning and environmental process will conclude in 2017.
The same presentation will be repeated twice that evening. The public can attend whichever time is most convenient for them.
The community open house will take place Tuesday, July 14 at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. at San Diego International Airport, Former Commuter Terminal, Second Floor, Orville and Wilbur Wright Conference Rooms, 3225 North Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101. Parking will be available in the Commuter Terminal lot and parking will be validated.
