Hillary Clinton makes surprise appearance at Unicef Ball (VIDEO)

Hillary Clinton made a surprise appearance at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball yesterday in New York.

Clinton presented the Audrey Hepburn Humanitarian Award to Katy Perry, bringing the singer to tears. Clinton said, “We need champions like Katy” when introducing Perry. Perry was a staunch supporter of Clinton during the presidential race.

Celebrating its twelfth year, The UNICEF Snowflake Ball is one of the most notable galas in New York City with over 800 guests. The Ball has raised $27 million over the past eleven years.

This was only Hillary Clinton’s second public appearance since losing the presidential race to Donald Trump. Trump won on the Electoral College while Clinton’s popular vote lead is now over 2.3 million, the widest margin for a losing presidential candidate since 1876.
