FBI Director James Comey fired by Trump

President Trump today fired FBI Director James Comey.

A statement from White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer stated that President Trump acted on the “… clear recommendations of both Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Attorney General Jeff Sessions.”

“The FBI is one of our nation’s most cherished and respected institutions and today will mark a new beginning for our crown jewel of law enforcement,”  Trump said in the statement.

Comey dismissalA search for a new permanent FBI director will begin immediately, Spicer said.

The FBI is currently conducting an investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during last year’s presidential election.

  1. Trump already has a great candidate for this replacement. He can hire crooked Bonnie Dumanis. Or maybe promote Duncan Hunter Jr. into the job. We have to keep the crooks in power.

  2. He should have done this back in January.
